Chinchpur Farmer Producer Company

Our company is based in Chinchpur, which is part of the Sillod area. We are located at the house of Sow Pandurang Khandu. It is a small village and everyone knows where it is. We are the Chinchpur Farmer Producer Company. It is not a big corporate setup. It is just a local group of us trying to coordinate our farming. We grow mostly what everyone else grows around here. The office is just a room with some files and a few chairs. We do not have a lot of equipment. We spend most of our time out in the fields or talking to the other farmers in the village. It is a community thing. When someone has a problem with their crop, they come by and we talk it over. We are not trying to be the biggest company in the district. We just want to make sure we can sell our produce for a price that makes sense. Sometimes the rain does not come when it should, and those are the hard times. We just stay here and work through it. It is a practical way of living. We do not use fancy words or have big meetings. We just sit around and decide what needs to be done for the next season. It is a very local business, run by local people who have been here for generations and know the dirt under their fingernails.
