If you are looking for us, we are located over at Bhawantal in Sillod. We use Baburao Yashawanta’s place for our operations. It’s a straightforward setup. Krushibhavan is basically just a collective of people from around the village and nearby areas. We spend a lot of time sitting around talking about what the fields need. Some days the rain helps us out, and other days it makes everything a muddy mess. We just deal with it. It’s a small operation here in Sillod. We don’t have fancy furniture or a front desk person. Usually, whoever is around just answers the door. Most of our work is just organizing what the farmers bring in. It takes a lot of time to get all the details right. Sometimes we make mistakes on the forms and have to redo them. That’s just life in a small office. The building is old but it stays cool enough in the heat. We know everyone who comes by because we’ve lived here forever. It is nice to work with people you actually know from the neighborhood. We focus on the practical side of farming. There is always something to fix or someone to call. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the local produce gets handled properly. It keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. Most of the time, we are just happy to have a place where we can all get together.
