Siddhivijay Agro Shetkari Producer Company Limited is based in the village of Hatti, over in the Sillod taluka. We operate out of Sanjay Rangnath Sirsath’s place. We are a small group of local farmers who decided it was time to work together instead of always going at it alone. Hatti is a quiet place where most families have been farming for generations. Our company isn't about being big or corporate; it's just about practical solutions for our daily farming life. We deal with seeds, fertilizers, and figuring out the best time to sell what we grow. It's a lot of coordination, and usually, there's a lot of back-and-forth conversation about what the markets are doing. The office is a simple spot where we can keep our records straight and meet up when the day's work is done. We don't have any fancy titles or formal uniforms. You'll usually see us in our regular work clothes. Sillod has its own rhythm when it comes to agriculture, and we try to stay in sync with that. Sometimes the rains are good and sometimes they aren't, so having this group helps us manage the risks a bit better. We focus on what’s right in front of us, like getting the crops harvested and making sure the bookkeeping is correct. It is honest work and we take it one season at a time, trying to make things a little easier for everyone in the group.
