V N K Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at Gut Number 127 in Pirola. That is a small village in Sillod. Vinayak Kale is the one who keeps things moving here. His place is where we gather to talk about the business. It’s right in the middle of the farming area, which makes sense for us. We spend our time looking at the soil and the plants more than we look at computer screens. We are just a bunch of local guys who decided to work together. Pirola is a quiet place, but we stay busy with the cycles of the seasons. There is always something that needs to be hauled or a new batch of fertilizer to check. We don't have a polished way of speaking. We just say things as they are. Sometimes the work is exhausting and we get covered in mud, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the gate at G No. 127. People know Vinayak and they know they can come here for help with their farm stuff. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make the farming life in Sillod a bit more manageable for everyone involved. It’s a simple life and we are happy with it. We just take it one day at a time and do what is necessary for the next harvest to be successful.
