Dakshyani Farmer Producer Company Limited is based right out of House No. 186 in Pimpalgaon Peth. This is in the Sillod area, and if you know the village, you probably know where we are. We are just a local bunch of farmers who thought it was time to join forces. Life in Pimpalgaon Peth revolves around the seasons and what the earth gives us. We don't have a big fancy office with a receptionist; it’s more of a place where we gather to figure out our next steps. Sometimes the farming life gets tough, especially when the costs go up and the returns don't look so good. That is why we started this producer company. It helps us stay organized and feel a bit more secure. Most of the time, our boots are muddy and we are thinking about the next crop cycle. We don't really have a lot of corporate polish or big goals for world domination. We just want to make sure we can sell what we grow for a fair price and keep our families going. It’s honest work, and there is no shortcut to it. You’ll see us around the taluka, usually busy with something or the other. We don’t spend much time writing about ourselves, we’d rather be out there getting things done. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We hope the harvest is good this year for everyone.
