You’ll find our branch of Delhi Public School on Nanakiana Sahib Nabha Road in Sangrur. Being in the 148001 area, we are quite easy to spot. The school has a good amount of space, and we try to keep the grounds looking decent, though the Punjab dust sometimes has other plans. Most of us working here are just normal people trying to give the local kids a fair shot at their studies. It’s a mix of younger teachers with new ideas and older staff who have seen it all before. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations. Instead, we’re usually busy managing the bus routes or making sure the science equipment is actually working. The morning assembly is a big part of our routine, where everyone gathers before heading into the classrooms. It’s a noisy, lively place, especially when the final bell rings and everyone rushes for the gate. We deal with the typical school issues—lost shoes, forgotten lunch boxes, and the occasional scraped knee. It's a very practical operation. We just want the students to learn their lessons and grow up to be decent people. There’s no corporate polish here, just the daily grind of a school on Nabha Road. We take things one day at a time and focus on the kids. Some days it is exhausting, but seeing the students graduate makes it feel worth the effort.
