Sahibjada Ajit Singh Public High School

Sahibjada Ajit Singh Public High School is out on Ratta Khera Road. We are part of Bpo Daska in the Sangrur tehsil. It is a rural area, so you see a lot of fields around us. Depending on the season, the air smells like cut crops or fresh dirt. The road out front can be a bit bumpy, but it leads right to our gates. The school building is a simple, functional structure. We have a playground that gets quite dusty when the wind picks up, but the kids don't seem to mind it at all. We have been here for the local community for a long time. Many of the parents who bring their children here went to school in this area themselves. We don't have any of those modern glass buildings. It is just brick and mortar that we try to keep in good repair. The classrooms have big windows to let in the breeze. We have a small staff room where we sit and plan the lessons for the week. The atmosphere is generally quiet except for when the kids are moving between classes. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks to get people to come here. They know us because we are part of the Daska area. We just focus on teaching the subjects and making sure the children behave themselves. It is a long day for many of us, but we are used to the rhythm of the village. We just keep our heads down and do the work required.
