New Model Sen Sec School

Our school is located right in Chaunda and it stays quite busy during the week. We have students coming in from all over the Sangrur area every morning. The gates open early and there is always a bit of a rush with the buses and parents dropping kids off at the entrance. It is a standard school building, nothing too modern, but it does the job for everyone. We have classrooms for the younger kids and the older ones too. The hallways are usually full of drawings and projects taped to the walls by the teachers. We do not spend much on fancy decorations. Most of our day is spent following the schedule and making sure everyone is where they need to be. During lunch, the playground gets quite loud, which is normal for a school like this one. We have been part of this community for quite some time now. Some of the teachers have lived here their whole lives. It is a bit dusty in the summer and cold in the winter, but we manage with what we have. We have a small office where we keep the records and handle the daily paperwork. It is often a bit cluttered with files and folders. People know us as the local secondary school. We do not try to be anything else. We just open the doors, teach the lessons, and go home. It is a steady routine for us all.
