Modern Secular Pub. School

Our school is situated along the Malerkotla-Khanna Road, right in the heart of Sangrur 148001. Being on the main road means there’s always some traffic passing by, but once you step inside Modern Secular Pub. School, it feels a bit different. We’ve got a mix of rooms and a bit of space where the students hang out during their breaks. It isn't a silent place by any means. There is always someone calling out or a bell ringing at the wrong time. We deal with the dusty winds during the dry season and the muddy patches when it rains. The staff here are mostly local people who live nearby. We share tea in the staff room and talk about the day’s lessons. The building has been here for some time and shows its age in a few spots, but it feels like home to us. Parents stop by the office to chat or ask about things, and we try to keep them updated without too much fuss. Life in Malerkotla moves at its own pace, and we just follow along with it. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to make us look fancy. It’s just a school on the side of the road where we come to work every morning. Most of the kids come from the surrounding villages and towns, making it a busy little hub for the area. We just keep going, day after day, through the heat and the rain.
