Jai Vatika Public School

If you drive down the Sangera Bye-Pass Road near Thikriwala Chowk, you will see Jai Vatika Public School. It sits right there where the traffic moves toward Sangrur. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the buses are pulling in and dropping off kids from all over the area. We have a lot of space for the students to move around, which is good because they have plenty of energy. The school day starts with everyone gathering together, and then it's off to the classrooms. We have different rooms for different subjects, and the teachers stay busy moving from one to the other. There is a lot of dust from the road sometimes, so we spend a fair bit of time sweeping. The staff room is where we sit to have tea and talk about how the day is going. It’s a practical place without any extra frills. We have some trees around the edges of the property that provide a little shade. When the weather is nice, the kids spend as much time outside as possible. We see a lot of the same parents every day at the gates. It’s just a regular school trying to do its part for the kids in this part of Sangrur. Everyone knows everyone else, so it feels quite familiar. We just take it one day at a time, keeping the schedule on track and the kids learning.
