Vasantha Bhavan Hotel

Our hotel, Vasantha Bhavan, is right on Cuddalore Main Road in Attur. It’s a busy road so there is always something going on outside. We are very close to the Vellai Pillaiyar Temple, which is how most locals describe our location when they are giving directions. Being in the Salem district means we get a mix of local residents and people traveling through on the main road. The hotel has been part of this neighborhood for quite some time now. We keep things simple here. It’s not a big corporate chain or anything like that. It’s just us running a local business at number 569. The day starts quite early because of the temple nearby and the travelers who are on the road at dawn. We spend most of our time making sure the place is clean and ready for whoever walks in. It’s a practical kind of place. We don't use fancy decorations or big advertisements. Most people know us just by seeing the sign when they drive toward Salem. Sometimes the main road gets very dusty and noisy, but that’s just part of being in this location. We’ve grown used to the sound of the traffic and the bells from the temple. It’s a decent spot for anyone looking for a place to stop for a bit. We just do our work and look forward to the next day. It is just how we do things in Attur and we are okay with it.
