Salem is a good place to work and this plaza has been our home for a while. It’s not a huge fancy building, just a regular spot where we do our cooking and serve whoever comes in. We have a few tables and the usual kitchen stuff. Most people find us because of the 7 arts landmark across the street. We try to keep the place clean and ready for the day. Sometimes the plaza gets a bit crowded with parked bikes and cars, but that is just how Salem East is. We aren't part of some big chain, it’s just us running things at this address. We spend most of our mornings getting everything ready before the doors open. It can be a lot of work but we have gotten used to the routine over the years.
