Best Biryani is located over at Swarna Ambika Plaza in Palapatti. If you’re around the TVS bus stop in Salem, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much of it. We’re right there on Omalur Main Road. The kitchen gets going really early in the morning because the rice and meat take time to get right. It’s hot work, especially in the summer, but we’re used to it by now. The shop isn’t huge, but we make it work with the space we have. We get a lot of people stopping by who are just waiting for their bus or working in the nearby shops. It’s a busy corner of Palapatti, so there’s always noise from the traffic and people shouting for rides. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the pots are clean and the food is ready when the lunch rush hits. Sometimes we run out of stuff earlier than expected, and other days it’s quiet, you never really know. We’ve been at this spot for a bit, and we know most of the other shop owners around the plaza. It’s a practical setup. We focus on the cooking and keeping the counters wiped down. If you are looking for us, just head toward the bus stop and look for the sign near the main road. We’re just regular people making food for the neighborhood.
