Aachi Chettinadu Restaurant

Aachi Chettinadu Restaurant is over on Tamil Sangam Road in the Gugai area of Salem. We are located pretty close to Anna Park, so we get a lot of people who are out for a walk or spending time with their families. We have been operating here for several years now. It is a simple place, nothing like those big chain restaurants you see in the malls. We just have our tables set up and a kitchen that stays busy from morning till night. The air in the dining room usually smells like the spices we are grinding up in the back. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the room is full, but that just means people are enjoying themselves. We don't have a fancy marketing team or a polished website. We just rely on the people in Gugai knowing we are here. The staff is mostly family or people who have worked with us so long they might as well be. We have had some rainy days where the roof leaked a bit, but we fixed it up. That is just how things go when you run a local business. We are just here to serve the community and keep the stove hot. If you are near the park, you can find us easily enough. We are just a neighborhood spot doing our best with what we have.
