Flakes Restaurant

We are over in Salem, specifically on Junction Main Road in the Jagir Ammapalayam area. Our place is at No 352/1. If you are a student at Sona College, you probably know where we are because we are right near there. Being on the main road means there is always a lot of traffic and people passing by. We get a lot of students coming in between their classes or after they are done for the day. It is a simple restaurant. We don’t have anything very fancy going on with the decor. It is just tables and chairs where you can sit and eat. We serve a variety of things that the local crowd likes. The kitchen stays busy during the lunch hour especially. Because we are near the junction, we also get people who are just traveling through Salem. It can be a bit loud with the buses and cars outside, but that is part of being on a main road. We have been here for a bit and the regulars know what to expect. It’s a basic spot for a meal. We don’t put on any acts. We just cook the food and serve it. If you need a place to eat near the college or the station, we are right there in Suramangalam. It’s just a local business run by local people who have been around this part of Salem for years. We’ve kept the doors open at 636005 for quite a while now.
