Giri Family Restaurant

You can find Giri Family Restaurant over in Konganapuram, specifically in the Asaripattarai area on Omular Main Road. We are pretty close to Ganga College, so we see a lot of students and people who work around there. Salem can get really hot in the summer months, and our place is just a regular spot where people can sit down for a bit. We have been serving food here in Edapadi Taluk for a long time. It is a family-run business, so there is usually one of us around the kitchen or the front desk. We don't do anything too complicated with the menu. It is just the kind of food we know how to make. The tables are basic and we don't spend much on decorations because people mostly care about the meal. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud and the service might be a little slow when we have a big crowd, but we do what we can. It's a local business through and through. We know most of the people who come in by their names because they live just down the road or study at the college nearby. We stay open pretty late most days. It is a lot of hard work but it keeps us going. If you are driving on the main road, you will see us there near the college. We aren't trying to be a five-star hotel, just a place for a decent lunch or dinner.
