Escape Bar

Escape Bar is at No 94 on Ramakrishna Road in the Hastampatti area of Salem. We are part of the Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation Ltd property here. If you are looking for us, we are right across from Ramakrishna Park. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the very center of the city, but it still gets plenty of visitors because of the park and the TTDC connection. The bar is a simple place where people can come to relax. We have a regular set of tables and a counter. It’s not one of those modern, loud places. It’s more traditional and straightforward. We’ve been operating out of this Salem location for a good while. Most of the people who come in are locals from Hastampatti or people staying at the tourism complex. The staff is small and we all know how things work here. We don't have a lot of fancy stuff on the walls, just a clean environment for a drink and some snacks. The 636007 area is easy to navigate. Being opposite the park is nice because it gives a bit of a green view outside the windows. We just open up every day and serve the folks who stop by. There’s no big corporate talk here. We just run the bar as best as we can and keep things orderly. It’s a practical spot for anyone in Salem looking for a place that’s been around for a bit and knows how to serve the local crowd.
