KB RESTAURENT is located right on the Attur bypass road in Seelanaickenpatti. We are very close to the Roundana, so drivers and locals find us pretty easily. Being on the bypass means we see a lot of people who are just passing through Salem and need a bite to eat before they get back on the road. The place is at 9/96-1, and we have been serving food here for a good while. It’s a practical setup, nothing too decorative or over the top. We focus on getting the food ready and making sure people have a place to sit. It can get quite dusty being so close to the main road, so we are always cleaning the front area. We don't have a big corporate office; it is just the kitchen staff and a couple of us out front. Most of our customers are regulars from around the 636201 area or truckers who know our name. We try to keep the prices at a level that makes sense because we know people work hard for their money. The menu is mostly stuff we know how to make well and quickly. It gets really busy during the lunch hour, and sometimes it is a bit of a scramble to keep up, but we manage. It’s just a local restaurant doing its thing by the highway. We don't try to be something we aren't, we just serve lunch and dinner and keep the floor swept daily.
