Karthick Restaurant

Karthick Restaurant is located at Number 323 on Omalur Main Road. We are in the Leigh Bazaar area of Salem. The new bus stop is very close to us, which is why we get so many people coming in. When the buses pull in, we usually get a rush of hungry travelers. We have been at this address for quite some time now. The main road is always loud with traffic, but inside it is a bit more settled. We have rows of tables and benches for people to sit down. The kitchen is at the back and you can usually hear the sounds of cooking if you sit near the rear. We do not use any fancy decorations. The walls are just painted a simple color and we have some calendars hanging up. In the mornings, we start very early to get the steam going. Salem can get very hot, so we have fans running all over the ceiling to keep the air moving. Our staff wears regular clothes and we all know each other well. We do not have a printed menu that changes; it is mostly the same things every day. People come here because they know what to expect. We are just a regular restaurant serving the people who pass through Leigh Bazaar or live nearby. It is hard work but we are used to the rhythm of the bus station nearby.
