Swami Shudh Vaishno Dhaba

You can find us at College More on Beri Road in Kalanaur. Being a dhaba in Rohtak, we have a very specific way of doing things. We’re right at the junction, which means we get a lot of students from the nearby colleges and travelers passing through on the Beri Road. The place is built for practicality, with heavy tables and a kitchen that’s always got something on the fire. It’s a Shudh Vaishno setup, so we are very careful about how we handle the food and the ingredients we bring in. There’s no fancy decor here, just the basic stuff you need to sit down and eat. The dust from the road sometimes blows in, but we’re always sweeping and keeping the benches clean for the next person who sits down. In the winter, it gets quite cold out here in Kalanaur, and we try to keep the place feeling a bit warmer with the heat from the stove. We don’t have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just wake up, start the fire, and get to work serving whoever stops by. It’s a loud, busy environment with people calling out orders and the sound of trucks passing by outside. We’ve been here at this spot for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the fast pace of life at College More. It’s just a regular dhaba doing its thing, day in and day out, without any fuss.
