If you’re driving down the Rohtak-Bhiwani Road, you’ll find us in Kalanaur. We are right next to the Ajit Petrol Pump, so a lot of drivers stop by while they’re getting fuel. It’s a dusty stretch of road, and we get a lot of trucks passing through at all hours. We decided to set up here because it seemed like a good spot for travelers to take a break. The kitchen is always busy because on the highway, people are always in a hurry to get to the next town. We don't have any waiters in uniforms or anything like that. It’s just us in our regular clothes, serving whatever is fresh. Sometimes the heat from the road and the heat from the stoves makes it a bit much, but we have a few fans going. We use big pots because we cook in large batches. It’s not like a city restaurant where everything is small and delicate. Everything here is meant for people who have been on the road for hours. We see a lot of different faces every day, most of them just passing through once. But there are a few local farmers who come by every afternoon too. We don't really have a website or anything fancy. If you see the sign near the petrol pump, that’s us. We just try to keep things simple and keep the place running every day for anyone who needs a meal.
