Daana Pani Family Restaurant

We are located right on Highway 10 in the village of Madina. If you are driving towards Rohtak, you will see us near the high school. Being on the highway means we see a lot of different people every day. Truck drivers, families on long road trips, and folks from the village all stop by at different times. It’s a big open space because we wanted families to feel comfortable sitting together and not feeling cramped. The noise of the highway is always there in the background, but you get used to it after a few days. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen making sure everything is ready for the travelers who are often in a hurry. It’s a family-run business, so my kids sometimes help out after they finish their school work. We don't have a fancy menu with words you can't pronounce or strange ingredients. It is just regular food that fills you up. The parking lot out front gets quite dusty when it hasn't rained in a while, so we try to splash some water on it. We have a few trees planted nearby to give some shade for the cars. Some days are very long, especially when there's a lot of traffic on the road. We don't do anything for show. We just keep the place open and make sure there is enough food for everyone. It's a simple life out here in Madina, away from the city.
