Shir Bala JI Shudhh Veshno Bhojnalaya

Shir Bala JI Shudhh Veshno Bhojnalaya is right on Delhi Road in Rohtak. We are located exactly at Power House Chowk, which is a very busy and dusty intersection. There is always a lot of traffic passing by, from trucks to local buses. We run a traditional bhojnalaya, which means we only serve pure vegetarian food. We don't use any meat or anything like that in our kitchen. It is the kind of food that is meant to fill you up and keep you going. We get a lot of people who are traveling on the highway and need a quick, hot meal. The kitchen is small and we are constantly busy cooking dal, vegetables, and fresh rotis. We don't have any fancy menus or waiters in uniforms. It’s just us and a few helpers serving food on simple tables and benches. The noise from the chowk is constant, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We start our work very early to get the first batch of food ready for the morning travelers. It’s a lot of manual labor, standing over hot stoves and cleaning up after the rush. We take pride in the fact that our food is simple and made the right way. It is just an honest, local eating house for anyone who is hungry and passing through Rohtak. We stay here until the last customer leaves and everything is shut down.
