Life Ok Cafe & Restaurant

Life Ok Cafe & Restaurant is right in the middle of the action at Chottu Ram Chowk in Rohtak. You can find us at Shop No-105 on the first floor of Anand Plaza. A lot of people find it easier to just look for the Tanishq Jewellers and then head upstairs, as they are right below us. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the chowk, which is usually quite chaotic with cars and people. We opened this place because we wanted to have a spot in Anand Plaza. It’s not a huge space, but it’s enough for what we do. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen or behind the counter. The air conditioner is usually running because Rohtak gets quite hot during the summer months. Sometimes the power goes out in the plaza and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living and working here. We don't do anything too fancy, just the regular cafe and restaurant things. Most of our regulars come from the nearby shops or people out doing their shopping at the plaza. It’s a busy life, especially during the lunch hour when everyone seems to arrive at the same time. We just try to keep up with the orders and make sure the tables are wiped down.
