The Padosan Restaurants

We are located over at Kathal More on Arba Road in Landupdih. It is a bit of a drive out for some, but it’s where we’ve set up shop in Ranchi. The name Padosan means neighbor, and that’s kind of the vibe we have here. Just a place in the neighborhood where you can get a meal. The building is simple, nothing too flashy. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen prepping vegetables and getting the curries started early in the morning. It can get a bit loud when the lunch crowd hits, especially with the traffic on Arba Road right outside. We have been here for a bit now, and the locals seem to know where we are. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to manage, but that's just life in this part of town. The staff are mostly local guys who live nearby. We don’t have a massive menu, just the things we know how to cook well. It’s not one of those fancy places you see in magazines, but it’s our place. We keep the floor swept and the water jugs filled. If you find yourself in Landupdih, you’ll probably see our sign near the main road. It's just a regular restaurant where we try to keep things moving. Nothing more, nothing less. We are just here doing our thing every day. It is mostly about getting the food right and making sure everyone gets fed.
