Punjabi Tadka Restaurant

You can find us on Purulia Road in Kantatoli. We are right by the Kanta Toli Chowk, which is a very busy part of Ranchi. Punjabi Tadka Restaurant has been here for a while, and we’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. It’s a noisy spot with all the traffic at the chowk, but once you come inside, it’s a bit quieter. We are just a local restaurant trying to make a living. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It's just the owners and the kitchen staff working together every day. We get a lot of people traveling through since it’s a main road. We keep the menu simple because that's what we can do well. The floor gets a bit worn out from all the feet walking on it, but we keep it swept. We aren't trying to impress anyone with gold leaf or fancy lighting. We just want to serve a meal that makes sense. We buy our spices and grains from the same people we’ve known for years. If you’re stuck in traffic at Kanta Toli, you might see our sign. We are open for lunch and dinner. It's just a regular place for regular people to eat. We don't have any big secrets, just a lot of hours spent over the stove every single day. That's us.
