Mahi Restaurant & Banquet

Our place is situated right on the Harmu By Pass Road in Ranchi, very close to the Argora Chowk. It’s a convenient spot for people traveling through, but it does get quite noisy with all the trucks and cars passing by. We have a regular restaurant area and then a banquet hall for when people want to have a small function. It’s not a grand hotel or anything, just a functional space for weddings, birthdays, or family gatherings. We’ve been here for several years and have seen Argora Chowk become much busier than it used to be. The staff we have are mostly young men from the nearby villages who are hard workers. We don’t have fancy uniforms, just basic shirts. The food is straightforward, and we try to keep the prices fair for everyone. Sometimes we have a big event in the banquet hall and the restaurant gets a bit neglected, but we try to balance it out. We don’t have a big marketing plan or a polished image. We just open up every morning and start the day. If the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just light some candles and keep going. It’s a practical business run by people who live right here in Ranchi. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy words, we just want to provide a place to eat and celebrate.
