Ashans English Honours

Ashans English Honours is tucked away in Hari Om Tower in the Narasannapeta area of Ranchi. We are in Room No. 313. If you spend time in Ranchi, you know this building is a pretty well-known spot for different offices and tuition classes. Our room isn't very large at all. It is mostly filled with chairs and a big whiteboard. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a full group of students shows up for their English lessons. You can hear the muffled sounds of the other offices through the walls. People are always coming and going in the hallways. The elevator in Hari Om Tower can be a bit slow so a lot of students just take the stairs to the third floor. We spend our time going over grammar rules and reading different books. It is not a high-tech setup with computers. We just use paper and pens mostly. The air conditioner makes a bit of a rattle when it runs but it keeps the Ranchi heat away. We have some old posters about English literature on the walls that have started to yellow at the edges over the years. It is a practical place to learn. We do not do anything too fancy or modern. Students come in, they study, and then they head back out into the city. We just focus on the lessons and the books. Room 313 is our little corner.
