Zucchini Indian Global Restaurant

Down here on Race Course Road in Rajkot, you’ll find us tucked away below the Temptation Restaurant. Our place, Zucchini Indian Global Restaurant, has been part of this Kasturba Main Road area for a while now. It’s a busy part of town, especially in the evenings when everyone is out and about. We decided to do a mix of Indian dishes and some things from further away because that’s what people seemed to want. The space isn't huge, but we make it work with the layout we have. Being in a basement-level spot means it stays a bit cooler when the Rajkot sun is really beating down outside. We spend most of our time in the back getting the sauces ready or chopping up vegetables for the next shift. It’s not a fancy polished operation, just a regular restaurant where the staff knows most of the regulars by their first names. We see families coming in after shopping and office workers looking for a quick bite during their break. Sometimes the orders get backed up when it's crowded, but we try to keep our heads down and get the food out as fast as the stove allows. We don't have a big marketing department or anything, it’s just us making food every day. If you’re walking around the Race Course area, you’ve probably seen our sign near the stairs. We just keep the lights on and the kitchen running for whoever walks in.
