If you go behind the Central Bus Depot in Karanpara, you will find us in the Happy Home Building. Being right behind the bus stand means we see a lot of tired faces every day. People come off the long-distance buses looking for something to eat or a place to sit for a while before their next connection. Kanak Road is always loud with the sound of horns and bus engines. We are in the 360001 part of Rajkot, and it is a very fast-paced spot. Our restaurant is simple. We do not have air conditioning or fancy decorations. We just have fans that hum all day and a kitchen that never really stops. We get the milk delivered early, and the chai starts brewing before the first bus arrives. Some days are more tiring than others, especially when a lot of buses come in at once. We do not use any corporate language because we are just a family-run place trying to keep up with the crowd. The building itself has been here for years, and you can see the age in the floor tiles and the walls. We spend our time cleaning tables and making sure there is enough food for the evening rush. It is a busy life, and we do not have much time for anything else. We are just here, serving whoever walks through the door.
