Amidhara Kathiawadi restaurant has been sitting here at Raiya Circle for a good while now. If you know the 150 feet ring road in Rajkot, you know it gets pretty busy around the Suppan complex. We mostly focus on the traditional food that people around here grew up eating. It’s not a fancy place with velvet chairs or anything, just a spot where you can sit down and get a proper Kathiawadi meal. The kitchen stays busy from morning till night, mostly because of the foot traffic coming from Raiya chowkdi. We usually have the smell of spices drifting out onto the street. Some days are louder than others depending on the crowd, but that is just how it goes in this part of town. The staff here has been with us for years and they know the regulars by name. People stop by after work or bring their kids on the weekends. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't try to do anything too complicated, just keeping the stove hot and the plates full. The traffic outside never really stops, but inside it’s just about the food. You can find us right near the circle, it’s hard to miss if you’re driving by. We spend a lot of time making sure the buttermilk is cold and the rotis are fresh. It’s honest work and we like being part of the Rajkot food scene. There is always a lot of clinking of plates and chatter, which makes the place feel alive every single day.
