Urban Spoon Restaurant

If you know Rajkot, you probably know Jawahar Road. We are tucked inside the Platinum Hotel, right across from Jubilee Garden. It’s a busy part of town, especially on weekends when everyone is out at the park. We opened Urban Spoon because we wanted a place where locals could just come and eat without making a big deal out of it. It’s not one of those places with tiny portions and weird names. We just serve food. Being 360001, we are right in the heart of things. You can hear the traffic and the birds from the garden at the same time. The restaurant isn't huge, but it's got enough chairs for families. We see a lot of people who are staying in the hotel, but also plenty of folks who just walk in from the street. The staff is mostly local guys who know the menu by heart. We don’t have a fancy dress code or anything. You just walk in, sit down, and eat. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when there’s a crowd, but that’s just how it is in this neighborhood. We’ve been here long enough that people recognize us when they walk past the hotel entrance. It’s a practical spot for a meal, nothing more and nothing less. You won't find any corporate speeches here, just some people working in a kitchen and serving tables every day.
