U K Restaurant

This place, U K Restaurant, is out on Bhavnagar Road in Rajkot. If you know where Aji Dam is, we are just past that, right opposite the Tatkalik Hanuman temple. It is a good spot because a lot of people travel this road every day for work or travel. We aren't a big fancy establishment with a lot of staff in uniforms. It is mostly just us working the kitchen and the tables. The building is simple and we keep things pretty basic inside. We have been here for a while and have seen many people come and go. Rajkot gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we try to keep the place as comfortable as we can for anyone stopping by. We don't really have a big marketing plan or a website. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until we finish up everything at night. Sometimes the road outside gets really dusty with all the trucks passing, but that is just part of being on Bhavnagar Road. We serve anyone who walks in, from truck drivers to local families living nearby. There isn't anything complicated about how we run things. We buy what we need, cook it, and serve it. It is a local business through and through. We appreciate the regulars who come back every week. It makes the long hours feel worth it when you know the people you are serving. If you are driving out toward the dam, you will see our sign right there near the road.
