Tusti Restaurant

Tusti Restaurant is situated inside Hotel Stay Inn over on Kalavad Road in Rajkot. If you know the Mota Mava area, we are quite close to Rangoli Park, which is a landmark most people use to find us. Being attached to a hotel means we see a lot of different faces, not just the locals from Rajkot. Some people are just passing through and staying for a night, while others come in because they live nearby and don't want to cook at home after work. Kalavad Road is always busy, so there’s a constant sound of engines and horns in the distance throughout the day and into the evening. The restaurant isn't huge, but it fits enough tables for the lunch and dinner rushes that we get. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen making sure everything is handled right. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we all know the routine and what needs to be done without being told. We don't have a lot of fancy uniforms or corporate rules, just a way of doing things that works for us. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we have a backup generator to keep the lights on. We keep the menus simple so nobody gets confused about what they are ordering. It’s a straightforward place where you can sit down and eat without any pressure. We try to keep the floors clean and the tables wiped down as soon as someone leaves. It’s just a normal restaurant trying to do a decent job every day of the week.
