The Grand Thakkar Restaurant

Our restaurant is located on 80 Feet Road in Rajkot, right across from the Nageshwar Mahadev Temple. It is a good spot because people come to the temple and then they are usually looking for something to eat. Garbi Chowk is always full of activity, especially in the evenings when families come out for a walk. We have a simple setup inside with enough tables for the weekend rush. Rajkot people really love their food, so we have to make sure we have enough prepared every day. We don't do anything fancy with the plating or the decor. It is just a place where you sit down, eat your meal, and go about your day. The kitchen is always noisy with the sound of pans and people talking. We have a few regular items that everyone asks for, so we keep those going constantly. Sometimes the traffic on 80 Feet Road makes it hard to find parking right in front, but people usually manage. We have been here long enough that most people in the neighborhood know us by name. It is not a quiet place, especially when the temple has a festival going on, but we like the energy. We just keep doing what we do, serving plates of food to whoever comes in and making sure they leave with a full stomach.
