The Grand Moms Restaurant

Our restaurant is on Sanala Road in Morbi, right near the Samay Gate. It’s a spot that most locals know well. The name The Grand Moms comes from how we think about the food we serve. It’s not fancy hotel food; it’s more like what you’d find in a home kitchen. The place is usually full of the smell of tempering spices and fresh bread. We have a lot of tables packed in because it gets busy around lunch and dinner time. You’ll see the same people coming in day after day, mostly workers from the nearby shops or families from the neighborhood. The kitchen is visible from some parts of the seating area, so you can see the steam and the cooks moving fast to keep up. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just some simple stuff to make it feel comfortable. The floor is easy to clean because things get spilled often when it's crowded. We spend most of our time taking orders and making sure the food comes out hot. It’s a noisy, lively place where nobody really stands on ceremony. If you’re looking for a quiet, white-tablecloth kind of meal, this probably isn't it. We focus on the cooking and making sure there’s enough for everyone who walks in. It’s just a plain, honest place to eat near the gate for anyone who is hungry.
