Shridhar Restaurant & Party Lawn

Shridhar Restaurant & Party Lawn sits right on Jamnagar Road in Rajkot. If you are driving towards the Khandheri Cricket Stadium, you will see us just before you get there, right across from Gardi College. The place has been here for a bit, and we have this big open lawn that takes a lot of work to keep green, especially when the sun is out in full force. Inside the restaurant part, it’s mostly just tables and chairs set up for people who are passing through or locals who want a meal away from the city center. Being out here near the stadium means it gets really busy when there is a match or something going on, but otherwise, it is a bit quieter than the middle of Rajkot. We see a lot of students from the college across the road too. They come in for a quick bite between their classes. The party lawn side of things is where most of the activity happens during the wedding season. We spend a lot of time moving things around and making sure the lights are working. It’s a lot of space to look after, and something always needs fixing, whether it’s a leaky pipe or a patch of grass that isn’t growing right. We just try to keep the place decent and serve the food as it comes out of the kitchen. It’s a family-run kind of vibe.
