If you’re driving down Pedak Road in Rajkot, you’ll find us right across from Jill Ice Cream. It’s a good spot because people often come over for a meal before heading across the street for something sweet. Shred Krishna Restaurant isn't anything fancy to look at. We have a simple setup with basic furniture and a kitchen that stays busy from morning until late evening. Rajkot is a city that loves its food, so there is always pressure to keep things moving. I spend a lot of my time making sure we have enough supplies and that the kitchen is running smoothly. We deal with the local vegetable vendors every day, and sometimes we argue about the prices, but that’s just part of the business. The traffic on Pedak Road is usually quite heavy, so there’s a lot of honking and noise outside our door. Inside, we just focus on the cooking. We don't have a big team of waiters or anyone in a uniform. It’s just us, wearing our everyday clothes and serving the people who come in. Some customers have been coming here for years, and we know their orders before they even sit down. We don’t do any advertising or social media stuff. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. It’s a simple way to make a living, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
