Selva

You can find Selva over on Sadhuvasvani main road, right in the Nilkamal society area near University Road. Rajkot is a place that loves its food, and we are just one of many spots here trying to do things right. The shop isn't anything too large or impressive to look at from the street, but we put a lot of work into what happens inside. We’ve got regulars who come in from the society every day, and we know exactly what they want before they even say it. It’s nice having those kinds of relationships. Sometimes the University Road traffic is a bit much, and the noise leaks into the front of the shop, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't some big chain from another city. We are just local people serving our neighbors. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean up or just sit for a minute with a cup of tea. When it gets busy, though, everyone is on their feet and it’s a bit of a scramble. We don't use any fancy systems to track things, just our eyes and some basic notes. We just want to make sure the food is hot and people are satisfied when they leave. It’s a simple life here in the 360005 area. We’ve been part of this community for a while and don't plan on going anywhere.
