Sankalp The Restaurant

Sankalp The Restaurant is located right on Racecource Ring Road in Rajkot. We are in the Racecourse Park area, not far from Jila Panchayat Chowk. It is a decent spot because there are always people walking around the park or heading to the different government offices nearby. The building is easy to spot from the main ring road. Inside, it is just a regular dining setup. We have tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the wind and the road outside, but we sweep it when we can. It is usually quiet in the mid-mornings but picks up when the local offices take their lunch breaks. You might see a few families on the weekends. We do not really do anything special for them, they just seem to like the location. The ceiling fans hum quite a bit and the kitchen door makes a squeaky sound every time someone walks through it. It is a bit of a landmark for locals who use the chowk to get around. We do not have a website, just the sign hanging outside. Most of our workers have been here for a long time and they know the menu well. It is a straightforward business. We open up in the morning and stay open until the last person finishes their dinner. It is just part of the neighborhood. (248 words)
