Patel Dining Hall

Patel Dining Hall is located at Plot No 4 in Shivshakti Colony. We are on Paramount Street No 4, right off University Road here in Rajkot. If you are looking for us, we are across from the Ayurvedic Hospital and also the GEB Power Station. You can find us easily enough in the 360005 area. We don't do anything too fancy here. It’s a dining hall, so the focus is on sitting down and having a meal. We have long tables and plenty of space for people to come in. It isn't like those trendy cafes you see in the city center. We keep it old-fashioned. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the chairs are simple wood, but it works for us. We serve the kind of food we grew up eating. There’s no head chef with a tall hat, just people who know how to cook a good meal. We get a lot of people from the university and workers from nearby offices. It can get pretty loud during lunch, with everyone talking and the sound of dishes moving around. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just open the doors and people come in. It’s a straightforward business. We provide a place to eat, and people seem to appreciate that it hasn't changed much over the years. We just keep the kitchen running and the water jugs filled. Nothing too complicated about it.
