Dhebar Road South is always humming with activity, especially around the Atika Industrial Area. Our shop is at 7/4, and it’s been our base for a long time. We do electrical engineering work, which basically means we’re always covered in a bit of grease or dust from the motors we’re looking at. The space is filled with the smell of burnt copper and old metal. We have a couple of heavy workbenches that have seen better days, but they’re solid. There’s no air conditioning, just the big open doors that let in the street noise and a bit of a breeze if we’re lucky. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person telling us what to say. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-job, trying to figure out why a particular piece of equipment isn't turning over. We drink a lot of chai from the brass kettle and talk about the neighborhood. The flooring is uneven in spots, so you have to watch your step near the back. We know most of the other shop owners on this stretch of Dhebar Road. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We don’t promise anything magical, just that we’ll put in the hours to get the engineering side of things sorted out. It’s a bit messy, a bit loud, and very real. Most of our tools have been with us since the beginning.
