Michis Restaurant

We set up Michis Restaurant on University Road a while back. We’re right across from Bharat Dairy and not too far from Indira Circle. If you live in this part of Rajkot, you know it’s a busy place with students and families all over. Our shop is pretty basic. We have some tables inside and we try to keep the place cool when the sun is beating down outside. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the orders, especially in the evenings when everyone is out for a walk. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in town, just a spot where you can get a meal. The kitchen is small but we manage. We do all the prep work ourselves every morning. No big machines, just knives and stoves. Sometimes the wait is a little long if a big group comes in at once, but we do what we can. We’ve gotten to know the people at Bharat Dairy across the street pretty well. It’s a nice community on University Road. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just put a sign out and people started coming in. We keep the menu simple so we can do everything right. It’s just a regular local business. We open the doors, turn on the fans, and start the day. That’s about all there is to it. We aren't looking for awards or anything like that.
