Jay Murlidhar Dining Hall

We are located at 152, Vrundavan Society. It’s on Nana Mava Road, which stays pretty busy most of the time. Rajkot is a fast-growing place, but our dining hall is quite basic. We started Jay Murlidhar Dining Hall because we wanted to serve food that tastes like what you’d get in a regular home. There are no fancy decorations or soft music playing here. It’s just tables and chairs and the smell of cooking from the back. We get a lot of people from the society nearby and some students too. Kalavad Road isn't too far away, so we get some traffic from that side as well. The staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for a bit. We don't have a big corporate team or anyone doing marketing for us. We just open the doors in the morning and start the day. Sometimes the tea is a bit late or we are waiting on a vegetable delivery, but we manage. It’s a straightforward business. We like the regulars who come in every day and tell us about their lives. It’s nothing fancy, just a place to eat and then get back to your work.
