Jalsa The Restaurant

Our restaurant is located in the Shiv Ashish Complex on Kalavad Road in Rajkot. If you are coming from the Mahila College side, we are right opposite there, under the bridge service road. It is a busy spot with lots of traffic going by all day. Jalsa The Restaurant is where we spend most of our time. It’s a family kind of place, nothing too complicated. We have tables set up for small groups and bigger families who come in for dinner. The kitchen stays pretty busy, especially on the weekends when people are out shopping. We serve a variety of dishes that locals in Rajkot seem to like. It gets a bit noisy when the place is full, but that's just part of the atmosphere here. Our staff has been with us for a good bit of time. We aren't some big chain from another city; we are right here in the 360005 zip code. The menu is printed on simple paper and we change things up now and then. Sometimes the service is a little slow when every table is taken, but we do what we can. People come here for a regular meal, not for anything fancy or overpriced. It’s just an honest place to eat. We clear the tables, prep the food, and do it all over again the next day. It’s hard work but we enjoy seeing people leave full. Most nights we are here until the last customer finishes their tea and heads home.
