India Restaurant

We've been here on Gondal Road for a while now. Most people know us because we're right across from the Reliance petrol pump at Makkam Chowk. Rajkot is a busy place, and this road gets a lot of traffic, so we see a lot of people stopping by. It’s a simple setup. We serve food that people around here like. Nothing fancy. My staff and I just try to keep things moving. Sometimes it gets crowded during lunch hours, especially with the shops nearby. We cook the usual stuff you'd expect. The kitchen is always busy. I spend most of my day at the counter or checking the tables. It's hard work, but it keeps us going. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. The petrol pump is a good landmark if you're looking for us. People usually just walk in from the street. We don't do much advertising. Mostly it's just folks who live nearby or work in the local offices. It’s just a regular spot to get a meal. We open early enough and stay open until the dinner rush is over. Sometimes the chairs might wobble a bit, but the food is hot. That's what matters to us. It’s just India Restaurant, right here in Rajkot. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a place to eat on a busy road. I’m usually there every day making sure things are okay.
