Asiatic Baering Co

Asiatic Bearing Co is over in the GIDC Aji Industrial Estate, at C-1/18. Working in an industrial estate means you are surrounded by factories and workshops all day long. There is always the sound of machines or trucks loading up somewhere nearby. Our place is basically a warehouse with a small office area tucked into the corner. We deal with bearings, which are small but very important for machines, so we have to keep everything very organized on the metal racks. It is a lot of metal and a bit of grease sometimes, but that is the nature of the business. We are not trying to be anything we are not. The floor is plain concrete and the lights are those long tubes that hum a bit when they have been on for a few hours. We have been at this location for a good bit of time now. Most of our day is spent checking part numbers and making sure the right size bearing goes out to the customers who need them. It is precise work even if the surroundings are a bit rough. We do not have a big marketing team; it is just a couple of us who know the inventory inside out. If someone comes in looking for a specific part, we can usually find it pretty quick. The GIDC area is a bit dusty and can get very hot in the summer, but we are used to it. We just keep the doors open and work.
