Viraj Spices

It is pretty quiet out here in Village Shirur most of the time. We set up Viraj Spices because this area is home and we knew the people around Post Office Nhavare. The building is near the Shirur Sub Post Office, so it is easy to find if you are looking for it. My brother and I handle most of the daily work ourselves. Some days the Pune sun is really strong and the warehouse gets a bit warm, but we just keep the fans going. We spend most of our time dealing with the bags that come in from the local farms. It is a lot of dusty work and your clothes always end up smelling like turmeric or chili by five o'clock. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything. There is just a wooden desk and some chairs where we sit and talk to the truck drivers. The Tehsil Shirur area is a good place to be if you like a slower pace. People stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask if we have any fresh stock ready. We don't spend money on big ads. Most of the folks around the district already know where we are located. It’s just a regular business making sure the spices get sorted and sent out where they need to go. Sometimes the delivery van gets stuck in the mud if it rains too hard, but that’s just how it goes here.
