Our place is at House No- 241, tucked away behind Prabuddha Prerna Vihar. If you are driving down Road No 14 in Tingre Nagar, you have to look for the turn. Being near the Airport Road means we hear the planes going over quite a lot, but you get used to it after a few weeks. This is more of a home-style setup than a big factory. We use the space we have to mix the spices and get everything ready. It’s a bit crowded inside with all the sacks and the weighing scales, but we manage. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise late at night. We started Sujay Swad Spice because we knew how to blend things the old way. My cousin helps out with the packing, and my uncle keeps track of the supplies coming in from the market. It’s a lot of manual work. Your hands end up smelling like cumin and coriander for days, no matter how much you wash them. The house has been in the family for a bit, and using it for the business saved us a lot of trouble. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. We just talk to the local shopkeepers and they take what they need. It’s a simple way to earn a living here in Tingre Nagar and keep things moving.
