Spiced 24 is located near the Octroi Naka where Bhugaon and Thergaon meet. It’s a bit of a busy intersection with lots of trucks passing through all day and night. We chose this spot because there are always hungry people on the road. The name comes from the fact that we don't hold back on the spices in our cooking. The kitchen can get incredibly hot, especially when the afternoon sun hits the back of the building. We spend hours grinding our own spice mixes because we don't like the store-bought stuff. It’s a practical setup with metal tables and a floor we can just hose down at the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be a five-star place. It’s just a spot to get some spicy food and move on. Sometimes we run out of water or the gas cylinder needs changing right in the middle of a rush. It can be stressful, but we manage. Most of the people who eat here are regulars who work nearby or drivers passing through the Naka. We don't have a fancy menu with photos; it’s just a list on the wall. We do the cleaning, the cooking, and the billing ourselves. It’s a lot of manual labor, but it keeps the business going in Bhugaon. We’re just here every day, doing the work and serving whoever stops.
